I found this saved in my notes while I was writing out another life frustration to do reflection.

Every job has politics.

Every job has that one bad leader at least.

Every job has that one person who makes you wonder how did they even got hired.

And if you’re super unfortunate,

you’ll end up working for

a team of leaders

who don’t care about how things are run,

only branding and revenues are of concern;

you’ll end up working with

a team of people who creates more mess than fun,

pushes and forces their work down on you,

because you have no power, no leader,

where personal chit chatting / gossiping time

are important networking sessions;

you’ll end up working with

other departments with perpetual

processes and requirements,

and you work hard desperately

to save working relationships which has been ruined

by predecessors and current nonchalant leaders;

you’ll find yourself spending most of your time fending for yourself instead of

working five days a week;

to tank all the other departments

and to deal with demanding, oppressive and immature office people;

It’s easy to say just say no,

to learn to be better at managing people,

to feedback,

which has all be done.

Feedback has been given but been told that there’s nothing that can be done but to live with it.

Even new capable leader who joined

feels and says the same.

Thankful that someone

finally understands my situation,

but to get punished everyday

by standing for an hour the least

to hear enraged rants of

how the whole culture

and work processes are so screwed up,

and how she is not deserving of this;

Then how should I feel,

being oppressed

externally,

internally,

& directly by bosses.

I don’t deserve all these too right?

They say it’s the same everywhere,

Or maybe even worse;

Can anyone tell me

when the breaking point should be?
